Guided Kayak and Snorkel Tours

Come enjoy a kayaking and snorkeling adventure with us!

We paddle down the beautiful and quiet Kohala Coast to our favorite snorkel spot.

We usually end up snorkeling with turtles, octopus, or even manta rays, along with countless tropical fish on the reef.

Sometimes we see spinner dolphins and from Jan-March this can become a whale watching tour!

Occasionally during whale season (Jan-March), the swells get too big for snorkeling and we'll block off certain dates from the online booking when snorkeling doesn't look ideal. You can still call to book a whale watching kayak tour.

After snorkeling, we go to a nice beach for a light picnic of fresh local fruit and tasty snacks (and a photo op) before heading back to Puako Bay.

Included on our tours: masks, snorkels, fins, snacks, photos, life jackets (optional), water, kayaks and paddles. We also have a dry bag to keep your keys and phones dry.

Prices:

2.5 hour Deluxe tour with picnic snacks and photos included:

     8:30am - 11am or 9am - 11:30am:

     $139 keiki (age 5-12)

Kayak and snorkel with us in a protected marine sanctuary or at a turtle cleaning station! We often swim with turtles, manta rays, eagle rays, dolphins and we offer seasonal whale watching from the kayaks Jan-March.

Tropical fish are everywhere and the reef is alive and beautiful. Whether a first-timer or an experienced snorkeler, you're sure to have a great time!

The Kohala coast has incredible coral reefs and coastlines without all the crowds of Kona. Come out with us for the ultimate ocean experience!

We are a locally owned and operated company and have extensive knowledge of the local coastline. All of our guides are CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified because your safety is our #1 priority.

Full description of tour:

After a brief safety and paddling demonstration, we launch the kayaks and paddle along the beautiful Kohala coast for about 20-30 minutes to our favorite snorkeling spot.

Once we arrive, we tie the kayaks up to a buoy and pass out snorkel gear. We carefully explain how to properly use the gear and how to get in and out of the kayaks (don't worry, anyone can do it and the guides can give you a little boost back in, if you need a little help).

Your guide will be snorkeling with you and can help you find and identify all kinds of cool sea creatures. We know these reefs like the backs of our hands and take you to the best spots for seeing marine life. We often see turtles, eagle rays, manta rays, dolphins and lots of tropical fish. From Jan-March this tour can become a whale watching tour!

After snorkeling, we get back in the kayaks and eat a light picnic of fresh fruit, snacks and drinks before paddling back to the beach that we launched from.

We aim to please! We are always happy to accommodate special requests or needs.

Custom/private tours also available with or without snorkeling and at any time that fits your needs. Best conditions are early in the morning. More experienced kayakers can request a trip to a sea cave that's a bit of a further paddle (ocean conditions permitting).
